This vacation house is
built in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, very close to the Canadian
border. It is sited at the top of a long sloping farm landscape with
magnificent panoramic views to the south.
Program
The client was an urban couple with elegant, artistic tastes. They
wanted a small, inexpensive get away that could accommodate two adult
couples and up to eight children for long weekends and vacation
periods. They needed only two small private bedrooms. The children
would sleep in open lofts and on built-in couch/beds.
